beautiful artwork as usual, the poetic words, music and setting were indeed, very calming and relaxing which is nice after a hard day at work, very serene. The puzzles I enjoy, a little bit of a headache at the last one but I figured it out within reasonable time. I 'think' I know how too get the secret ending, but ill have too experiment too see if i'm right, and no, i'm not saying it~

it's ok, but i'm not gonna try and finish it simply because, in a 3-dimensional brawler, THERE SHOULD BE NO 'MISS' CHANCE i mean common, that defeats the whole purpose of trying too line up attacks in the first place, a brawler game is suppose too test placement and timing of the gamer, not his/her luck in weither or not you can land a blow or not, please, please, PLEASE remove that and replace it with either A: enemies have greater reach or B: normal (flinching) enemies mixed with tank (non-flinching) enemies

Ragnarok + metroid/castlevania (take your pick) = epic win!

please, please, please, PLEASE complete this, normally i don't do these kinds of things, but i want this to be finished! only half way through and i don't wanna stop, common, this has got too be finished, please!

the only detail i have to say is, the slide attack honestly breaks the game a lil, as you can simply equip the halberd and spam slide, especially with berserk, 1.4k damage to a boss? wow

some players told me that they can use slide to beat the game with no effort, but besides from the second boss, is it really that good? Thanks for playing and I hope I can impress you as much in future releases.

It's a good game, but that's all it is, after beating it there is no replay value, you can't repeat levels, you can't change spells and spells can't even be upgraded, only new ones unlocked, it's kind of easy when you get mana off of enemies cause then you can just spam spells as fast as the cool down will allow you
positives:
play as a necromancer (personal preference)
skeletons vary depending on enemy type (nice touch)
multiple missions (instead of 'defend' or 'destroy' the entire time)
enemy variation and strength
negatives:
no replay value
incredibly easy with very little strategy needed
one difficulty
no 'customizing'
does not reset when you beat the game
no story

some flaws can be over looked, like the customizing and one difficulty, others can be worked on, hope too see another like this soon, possibly better then this one

I found a glitch, i don't know if anyone pointed this out, but if you pause the game during a boss fight, another boss spawns, it can essentially break the game because you can farm bosses without the game locking up or freezing, i'm still playing around with it so i dunno if that's the limit of the glitch or not, boss HP is different for each however, and if you kill one, the end level jet pack comes down still so you don't need too kill them all

interesting aspect

having played this on kon originally, it's got a good idea, but alot of improvements could be used, such as the level up feature, it only improves score? then you can't push any further without luck, which is probably my biggest gripe, it feels way too much luck based, what enemy, what store, what item, i remember running by six or seven stores without encountering an enemy with no money, now that may have been on an older version, but it definitely has potential and i would gladly like too see this made into a full game (also, maybe a character select or customization option, just for kicks)

where too begin

it delivers on the fact that it's more realistic in sense of a free roaming battle field... but that's about it, when defending, soldiers should always take the closest enemy too the gate a priority, not the farthest, the battles do get repetitive and easy, but it does allow the simple pleasure of watching armies beat the hell out of eachother, the units used too attack and the units used too defend are the same, so it pans out, both sides feel even, it's an ok game, not the best but the idea is there and that's what holds it up, work on the over all presentation and tweak the AI a bit too be more realistic

nice game, but...

i can't give a full score... why? because even as i type this i have broken the survival mode without cheating, perhaps in survival mode you had too reload the ammo of your turrets, or if they could actually be targeted and destroyed it be better, right now i am literally an hour in, and i'm just standing on a lvl 3 aid pad while stuff blows up around me... may wanna look into that

in a good way, i honestly love platformers, especially like this where it's a mix of challenge yet not too hard, a nice curve that is hard too hit (for some people anyway)

i felt that the hit detection for the spikes and some fire traps were... dodgy, i had a number of deaths when the fire pillars vanished, and when i landed on a platform with spikes on the side, yet somehow i touched the spike and landed on the platform at the same time, the bosses were a nice touch, altho the most frustrating part, but whats a boss if it's not hard right?

final point: is there a sequal?

Thank you. Yeah I will work on a sequel, but first I want to create a whole new game. Then I use the experience from this and that game to create a truly great sequel.

honesty

for a flash game... the mario sprite is probably the best part which isn't saying alot, it's mario's face and world but it doesn't feel 'mario' if you catch my drift, granted i'm not slamming on you or anything, it's just... vastly... underwhelming
