out of my way

i'm going too note normally i don't review (or watch/play) these but, truth of the fact i tried it on another site, and since you have it on a site i'm a member of now ill give my two cents

first of all i really like the art style, everything is smooth and very expertly done with good detail, and the animations (for what there is in here) is very smooth, if you plan on continuing down the gaming path for this... please make at it an enjoyable game as well as a admittedly 'guilty pleasure' (Ucogi is really cute) alot of adult games tend too just throw out the boobs as soon as you do an action... as a gamer i tend too want too work hard for the reward (no pun intended) so, if you are able too make good game play mechanics along with the reward for completing the game? ill slip out of my comfort zone a little and play more of your stuff (and please try too avoid date sims, i have nothing against them... they are just too easy to cheat)

Veinom responds:

I totally agree with you. In this game you do have to work before you get to see the good parts. Thats why most people find it hard and complain about it, They just want to see nudity without any effort. True enough, the gameplay isn't the best but was the best i could do. And I also dislike date sims.

This game was 'stolen' on its first release and added in several sites. This is the final version.
Can you PM with the site you saw it please?

end?

is there no end? does it just keep going until you lose? i've gottin 3 mill and the prize marker went off screen, i believe that's a bug? it's an ok game idea but the patterns actually don't get any harder once you figure out how too play it, i could probably keep going and going (i won't explain too ruin it)

it's a good idea, make it have an end at least and maybe throw something too add more pressure, like a moving guillotine or a timer (difficulty modes)

incredibly impressive again

playing the previouse two games i had fairly high expectations and they were very well met, and the addition of online multiplayer? (insert joyous music)

However there are two things i'd like too point out that i would like too se, the first is that, in the first two games you always started with nothing cept a pistol and one room too defend, and you had too buy other rooms, while exp beefed up your character, adding health, faster reload, etc. the system you have now is fair, but try playing purge with nothing but rank 11 players... you'll see what i mean when the old weapon system was better, in my oppinion, because you could unlock then buy the weapon you oh-so desperately needed too fend off such massive amounts of undead.

the second? as mentioned before by dimitrillium, some form of chat, chat box, voice chat, w/e you can get too work, because then you can coordinate with your team members, plus (unless i missed it in the help screen) i dunno how too activate the 'quick chat'

other then that it's a marvelous game through and through, and lives up too it's predecessors, i just wish the exploration and stage unlockables were still there from previouse games

my two scents

there isn't really a whole lot too throw in considering the three below me got tons of others, but i guess i should put my two scents in as well, when i saw the necromancer class i was absolutely thrilled... then i got too the later dungeons... only five damage max for three skeletons, and they can bairly take any damage? it kinda ruins the point of being a necromancer if everything sucks near the end? the skeletons stopped getting stronger around 30 int, and even tho they represent a monster 10 floors down, they can be beaten by monsters on the fifth floor (i slammed bonus stats into int, capped them at second floor) then the demon who i believe is the best character too have, adds natural fire damage too his normal attacks, which is incredibly handy, but like the others mentioned normal damage seemed too have reached a limit, even with higher damage weapons, it seems that the only way too ever reach the bottom (if there is one) is too have a character with AoE skills with lots of HP, MP, and Int... it needs balancing, too say the least, also maybe some learnable skills, because a hunter would have a bow or something, right? and learn archery type skills, etc... you got the basics done, you just need fine-tuning

similar issues

The game is definitely a fresh take on the defensive genre, and i enjoy the mix of RPG and Scavenger element in it, cept i encountered two glitches, the first as previously mentioned, i'm on the map screen when suddenly it slapped the 'all humans are dead - game over' screen on me, unless the last fork you take is a life and death scenario that needs too be adressed, the second is when i actually ligitimatly died, it just slapped a blank screen on me, it's great, it just needs those two issues fixed then i would have no real complaints

YespunkGame responds:

Thanks for your comments (everyone =) ! I'll have a look to fix these issues (game over suddenly happening, blank end screen). Cheers!

glitch

i like the game alot, but it's one glitch that killed it for me after my fourth play through, which answers how i died when i was afk: you randomly die while the game is paused, doesn't matter how much health you have, you just blow up and it's game over, which killed it for me, please fix that glitch

JoUBG responds:

Edit: It's fixed now. :)

THANKS! You're the first person to mention that, I've just found the source of the issue and I'm correcting it ASAP. I will upload a fixed version shortly.

So glad you mentioned that ^_^

78%

the research is done... actually i coulda aced it if i wanted, i got the book myself, but that wouldn't be fun i went with the choices i would make when/if the situation ever arrises, it's definately better then alot of others i have seen

and all the mingames in one

now i see why you posted those mini games, it's been awhile since i played a good fighter, the mechanics were great, but i have found one cheat against the gnome king, you position yourself under his belt buckle with the front end just peeking out from behind, you can hit him and he can never hit you unless he jumps, that is the only flaw, exploiting that made him a hell of a lot easier, if i hadn't found it... well, i wouldn't be reviewing yet

The stages were well varied and different each time, the traps... uhg, if anything killed me it's the traps, good call for added difficulty, those are a pain in the ass, but i enjoy that.

Another thing which i see rarely these days is added a hint of strategy into the boss fights, most bosses you can go head on in the gaming industry and win, these bosses proved otherwise, altho the 2nd was easy too figure out, the third one was a really pain, altho it's disappointing the final is a straight up brawl... i see why you made him a tank of tanks, jeez

That's about all, maybe you could have made a life system, lose your lives start the act from the beginning, but that's my opinion of an old school gamer, anyway, it was a great installment too the series, peace out

coming from a gamer

saying you might choose a beta tester from all of us alot of people are gonna say something in hopes of being chosen, lol, but getting too the review

The mechanics are very solid, i enjoy the mix of combat and platformer, with a dash of puzzle solving, it's a good combination too make a good classic, which from what i know, this is so far. It's nice too have two med packs at the start, gives the player a feel of being eased in the action, of course the first fight is a little simple, that's a good thing.

Perhaps a defficulty setting would be nice, easy would be, normal amount of enemies, but they have less health and damage, normal is what you have it now... maybe a lil bit harder, and hard would be like, 1.5x or 2x the amount of enemies and you have less health, but it's a suggestion, and maybe little secrets here and there, not for in-game sake, but you know, achievement like things, such as 'you examined all the corpses, necropheliac' or, lol, something like that. honestly i can see myself playing this game through too the end a couple of times, the story line (altho just feintly cliched, earthquake, everyone is dead, and alien encounter, then again it's hard not too have it cliched these days) it's definitely a grabber, which makes me want too know more, ill be waiting, peace!

(note: i dun really care if i'm chosen or not)

maybe some filters

this is a great idea, i would love too listen too some new music without having too go through a giant list... but, it needs a filter, i dun wanna have too go through 50 songs before finding a metal song, then go through 50 more, know what i mean? great idea, just make it a lil more user controlled in terms of choosing songs and genre's (and maybe filter out something like, someone's voice acting rehearsel... yeah, i got one of those...)
